Northern Territory Manager

Malcolm Harrison Auctions Ltd holds National Onsite and Online Auctions of Commercial
Vehicles, Plant, Construction Equipment, Agricultural Machinery and Recycling Equipment.

Key Role:
Main objective: Secure, build and source increased volumes of Commercial Vehicles, Plant
and Machinery for our main auction facility at Prees, Shropshire, SY13 2HA.

•  Work towards and achieve where possible Onsite Auctions for Clients wishing to retire, have a change of direction for their business and/or Large Fleet Replacement programs.

•  Increase our Buyer/Vendor Portfolio.

• Mainly to cover Northern areas including Scotland however, you shall not be confined to a specific territory - your territory is your own potential customer/business bases.

• Ability to feed back and update the Directors of Malcolm Harrison Auctions Ltd daily.

Candidate:

• Motivated, organised person who can work from instruction and own initiative to grow and strengthen our auction business consignments and sales throughout the plant, construction, transport and agricultural sectors.

• Be trustworthy and have a positive attitude.

• Required to have Commercial Vehicle and/or Plant Sector Knowledge and Industry background - auction experience would be desirable but not essential.

• Strong awareness of the industry and global market trends.

•  Ability to assess prospect and negotiate values/valuations based on current market values.

• The ability to easily build rapport with clients and strengthen new and existing relationships.

Renumeration & Other:

• Competitive Base Salary and commission-based bonus structure.

Criteria:

• A valid, clean driver's licence.

• An established network of contacts within the industry is desirable.

• The ability to travel to cover the territory.

• Attendance at relevant auctions for auction days themselves when required/requested.
